Luther Manor Tree of Life

"He that plants trees loveth others besides himself"

"..and in the middle of the garden, He set the Tree of Life.."

This beautiful Tree of Life will greet you as you enter Luther Manor Retirement Community. It recognizes donors who have shared with Luther Manor through the years. This Tree of Life, expertly handcrafted by Luther Manor Board Member Ernie Mareske, serves to remind us in thankfulness for those who have given. The tree is made from four types of wood: maple, walnut, oak and cherry. The artist, Mr. Mareske shares this interpretation: "The walnut base symbolizes the earth; the maple above represents the distant hills and land. Coming from the earth, the trunk, in cherry and oak, symbolizes the Tree of Life reaching into the heavens. Of course all of the leaves are the names of donors who share God's gracious gifts with us in so many ways!"

An initial gift of $500 or more is needed to have your gift recognized on the Tree of Life. Your tax deductible gift will give you an opportunity to share with others at Luther Manor for those blessings you yourself have received.
