2nd Shift CNA
Luther Manor Nursing Home is accepting applications for Certified Nurse Aide openings on our 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm). Every other weekend is required. CNA certification is required.

Dietary Aide
Luther Manor is accepting applications for a Part-time Dietary Aide. Hours are primarily 4:00pm - 7:30pm. Every other weekend is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Food Preparation and Production
- Prepare and serve food/beverages to residents, staff and guests in the highest degree of palatability, quality and presentation possible.
- Take food and beverage temperatures to assure proper safety measures and maintain proper food/beverage temperatures.
- Sets up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas.
- Prepares and serves meals and snacks that are appetizing in appearance and which are in accordance with established portion control procedures, proper consistency and offer substitute food/beverages.
- Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors to the center in a pleasant, respectful, and courteous manner.

In addition to above, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, positive attitude in all situations, and an ability to communicate effectively with residents. Positive references from previous employers is required.

RN/LPN, Full-time - 2nd Shift
The hours for this position is 2:00pm – 10:30pm including every other weekend.

The responsibility of the RN/LPN is to direct and supervise the provision of resident care services, following established standards of nursing practice. As the 2nd shift nurse you will be responisble for supervising and coordinating CNAs and CMAs in this resident care.



Luther Manor utilizes medication aides to assist the nurses with med passes. This gives the RNs & LPNs more time to focus on other resident needs such as assessments, communicating with doctors, and other cares.

Social Services Director
Luther Manor is accepting applications for a full-time Social Services Director. To qualify candidates must have Bachelors in Social Work or relevant field. 2-5 years of social work experience in a health care setting. Knowledge and experience in Medicare & Medicaid as well as experience in long-term care admissions is a plus.

This position will be responsible for helping to meet psychosocial needs of the facility residents and coordinating the admissions of new residents.

Duties will include;
•Prepare and assist each resident and their family to adjust to the social and emotional aspects of illness, treatment and stay at Luther Manor.
•Assist residents and families in utilizing community resources when not provided by the Luther Manor.
•Maintain quality mix and full census on the nursing home.
•Fields calls, inquiries regarding admissions to appropriate levels of care.
•Give tours of the facility, explain admission procedures, give or mail admission packets to prospective resident and/or family.
